AngioLife Team at the Conference “Current Issues in Phlebology 2026”: Learning, Sharing Experience, and Implementing the Best Solutions for Our Patients

That is why our team annually participates in the scientific and practical conference “Current Issues in Phlebology”, traditionally held in the picturesque town of Yaremche, bringing together leading phlebologists, vascular surgeons, and researchers from across Ukraine.

 

Thanks to their extensive clinical experience and high level of expertise, AngioLife physicians are not only participants but also speakers at leading phlebology conferences, where they share their own clinical achievements and successful treatment outcomes.

 

This year, at the “Current Issues in Phlebology – 2026” conference, our specialists attended hands-on workshops, actively participated in scientific discussions, served as members of the presidium, and, as tradition dictates, presented lectures dedicated to modern approaches to the treatment of venous diseases and the management of patients with venous pathology.

 

Oleksandr Mykolayovych Voloshyn presented the report “From Hemodynamic Correction to Aesthetic Perfection: Staged Treatment of Varicose Tributaries After Truncal Ablation.”

Today, it is important not only to eliminate pathological venous reflux and restore normal blood circulation but also to achieve the best possible cosmetic result. Professor Viktor Hubka’s presentation once again emphasized that modern medicine is moving away from standardized treatment approaches. The management of deep vein thrombosis cannot be the same for every patient. When selecting anticoagulant therapy, physicians consider the cause of thrombosis, the risk of recurrence, the likelihood of bleeding, concomitant diseases, and many other individual factors. This personalized approach makes it possible to determine the optimal treatment duration and regimen, reduce the risk of recurrent thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and post-thrombotic syndrome, while minimizing the risk of complications associated with anticoagulant therapy. Viktor Dmytrovych Pavlichenko presented a clinical case demonstrating expert treatment using the Total Boost EVLA technique—a modern minimally invasive approach to the treatment of varicose veins.
