Prevention of Atherosclerosis and Cardiovascular Disease
European recommendations for the prevention of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease:
  • Complete cessation of smoking;
  • Adequate physical activity: Cannes less than 30-40 minutes, 4-5 times a week;

  • Normal glucose metabolism. Blood glucose levels are less than 6 mmol / L and HbA1 (glycated hemoglobin) is less than 6.5%, in the absence of contraindications.
  • Avoid excessive stress.
